SAM is an investment centric, independent investment firm offering international equity services principally to North American investors. SAM is controlled by its employees, who own 50.1% of the company and who are committed to the company remaining independently owned. Independent self-ownership allows consistency of purpose and the alignment of interests with those of our clients.

SAM is committed to restricting its growth in assets under management to US$5 billion of net client contributions. This limit will permit execution to be nimble and efficient, and portfolio positioning to deviate from the benchmark if need be. Simply put, this restriction on growth allows the investment professionals to focus solely on investment matters.
